Syria: ISIS prisoners

Late 2019 // In northeastern Syria, prisons and detention camps hold thousands of men, women and children whose lives are in limbo nearly a year after the final defeat of the Islamic State group. In this former vocational school in the Syrian city of Al-Hasakah, thousands of former Islamic State militants are held in cramped rooms by Kurdish fighters. The prisoners are dressed in orange jumpsuits to resemble the once used by ISIS for public killings and beheadings. Which were used by the terrorist group to resemble the outfits worn by prisoners in Guantanamo Bay.
